The ingredients prepare vegetable fried rice :
- Basmati rice - 1 cup
- vegetable - 1 cup chopped ( beans , carrot and peas )
- Green chillies - 2-3 chopped
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- onion - 1 to 2 chopped
- Black jeera - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste .
Preparation :
- Wash and soak the rice in enough water for 10 -15 mints and drain .
- Add rice , little salt , black jeera and 1 tsp oil in boiling water .
- Cook uncovered on medium heat till rice is tender .
- Take care the rice should not be overcooked and each grin of rice should be separate .
- When rice is done drain the excess water and spread the cooked rice in a large plate and set a side .
- Heat a oil in a large pan and stir fry all the chopped vegetables ginger , garlic , onion and green chilli for 3-4 minutes .
- Vegetable should not be overcooked , they should be crisp .
- Mix salt and pepper to taste .
- Add the rice and toss it gently and cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes .
